SF Giannis Antetokounmpo (Age 22)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is undoubtedly a future MVP in the NBA, without a doubt. Antetokounmpo is entering his fifth season this year coming off of an all-star appearance last season. Last season, the Greek Freak averaged 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists.

This very strong play has translated directly into this season as well. Against a tough Boston Celtics team, Antetokounmpo put together a stat line that certainly is MVP worthy. Antetokounmpo dropped 37 points with 13 rebounds and three assists in game one. If that is not MVP worthy, I do not know what is.

Of course, Antetokounmpo has a shot to win the MVP this year, but if not, he is only 22 years old and is still years away from reaching his prime. As LeBron James enters the twilight of his career, and with Kevin Durant currently in his prime, the timetables align perfectly for Antetokounmpo to become the face of the NBA after LeBron.

What better place to become the face of the NBA than Los Angeles. As young and talented as the Bucks are, Milwaukee is one of the smallest sports markets in America. In fact, the Milwaukee Bucks were ranked as the 27th most valuable NBA franchise with a net worth of $785 million (February 2017).

The Lakers are the second most valuable NBA franchise with a net worth of $3 billion. Antetokounmpo is primed to be the best player in the NBA and Los Angeles may be the only place to contain his stardom.
