How things can go from bad to worse for the Los Angeles Clippers
By Keith Rivas
The piling up of injuries is just the start of things for the Los Angeles Clippers.
We’ve seen how bad luck has taken it’s toll on the Los Angeles Clippers over the past few seasons, especially in the playoffs, but they seem to be reaching a new low. Not only was their 4-0 start to the season merely a smokescreen, but it’s uncertain how they can win anything moving forward.
Turns that Griffin has a torn MCL after an incident against the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s just the latest big injury, as others worth noting that have also been hit with the injury bug on the team include Patrick Beverley, Milos Teodosic, an Danilo Gallinari.
Beverley is out for the season, Griffin will miss two months, Teodosic is out an extended period of time as well while Gallinari’s return is still to be determined.
This all comes in a post-Chris Paul world where the Los Angeles Clippers had no choice but to spend all sorts of money on Blake Griffin and try to make something out of a core with him in the lead. Unfortunately, this is what they get for doing just that over the summer.
They won the game against the Lakers in which Griffin got injured, but that’s not important in the big scheme of things when you consider what they’re up against now.
With rumors of Doc Rivers also being on the hot seat amidst all of this, you can’t help but wonder what on Earth is going on in Los Angeles.
Well, with that in mind, here are three ways things can go from really bad to worse for the other team from LA.
