3. UCLA comeback win over Texas A&M

An explosive home opener to the college football season for the UCLA Bruins was capped off by a record-setting comeback.

The Bruins faced the Texas A&M Aggies looking to avenge a season-opening overtime loss from the year before. Unfortunately for the Bruins, it looked like once again they weren’t ready for prime time as the Aggies built a 34 point lead.

Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen stepped up and engineered an improbable comeback win by throwing four touchdown passes and 292 yards on a night when he finished 35 of 59 for 491 yards.

Rosen’s last touchdown came on a fake spike that engineered the second biggest comeback win in college football history. Despite a frustrating 6-7 season, there was no better win than the miracle opening game comeback.
