3. Denver Broncos — Fifth Overall Selection

The Denver Broncos are the best option for Josh Rosen to win as a starting quarterback the instant he enters the league. Just two years ago, the Broncos defense led a retiring Peyton Manning to his second ever Super Bowl win. Now, with the new faces in Denver failing to materialize, the Broncos could find their quarterback of the future in Rosen.

The only problem is that the Broncos select fifth in the draft; behind two better fits for Rosen and one team that will have two chances to select him.

Still, from a simply winning standpoint, the Broncos may be the best option for Rosen moving forward. If Rosen could simply pick any team in the top five to play for the Denver Broncos easily would be the best choice.

They have tools in Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas and C.J. Anderson. Add in the Broncos still solid defense led by Von Miller and they are the closest team in the top five to success. All the Broncos were really missing last season, besides health, was a solid quarterback to lead the team.

When Trevor Siemian looked decent the Broncos played great. However, that hardly lasted and the Broncos were only able to pick up five wins. Enter Rosen, who can take over the offense immediately and at the very least get the Broncos back up to eight wins.

If he plays up to his potential, Rosen can easily lead the Broncos back to the postseason in his rookie campaign. It is hard to see Rosen falling to the fifth selection, but if he does, the Broncos would be foolish to pass on him.
