The Los Angeles Rams, fresh off of a playoff loss, were one of many teams to break out in 2017. Thus, the Rams had some solid team MVPs for 2017.

The 2017 season was, by all accounts, a massive success for the Los Angeles Rams. Los Angeles exceeded every single expectation placed upon them, giving the fans their first winning season since 2003. An 11-5 finish after a 4-12 season is about as good of a turn around as it gets. Although they ultimately fell in the playoffs, fans should be proud of the Rams.

A lot of this can be attributed to new head coach Sean McVay and the rest of the Rams coaching staff. McVay was able to change the culture of the team that previously was established by Jeff Fisher. His youth was not a restriction as many believed and his two coordinators — Wade Phillips and Matt LaFleur — were huge components of his early success.

The front office did a great job of adding necessary pieces, as well. The entire focus of the offseason was based on bringing in weapons around Jared Goff. That worked tremendously, as Goff arguably had the best turnaround season in 2017. With a sneaky good defense, the Rams offensive gameplan worked to perfection.

Los Angeles set the precedent for years to come. With youth not only on the roster but on the coaching staff, the Rams will be one of the best teams of the next five years.

That charge will (hopefully) be led by the offensive and defensive MVPs of 2017.
