Just like in our first 2018 NFL Mock Draft, the Chargers returned to addressing the offensive line and selected a center in the third round. However, instead of drafting James Daniels out of Iowa, the Chargers instead selected Frank Ragnow out of Arkansas. Walter Football has Ragnow as the fourth-best center in this draft class directly under Daniels.

Ragnow has the size and stature to be successful as a center in the NFL. Standing in at six-foot-five and 317 pounds, Ragnow possesses the perfect blend of size and athleticism that will allow his natural talent to easily transition to the big leagues.

Thus, like we said in the first round, the Chargers are just a piece or two away from a fantastic line. Ragnow adds that depth that makes the Chargers O-line the best it has been in some time.

Spencer Pulley definitely did enough for the Chargers last season to keep the line respectable, but Ragnow would be an immediate upgrade that sums up the line. Then, the Chargers would have an offensive line consisting of Russell Okung, Forrest Lamp, Ragnow and Mike McGlinchey with Dan Feeney and Kenny Wiggins competing for the last spot.

The everyday NFL fan may not know any of those names, but trust me, that is the kind of offensive line the Chargers have sought after for years.
