The Los Angeles Dodgers were elite last summer, but there are still players in LA who don’t get enough credit for the impact they’ve had on the reigning National League Champions.

Spring training is almost here, and with its arrival, a new season officially begins. The Los Angeles Dodgers have an incredibly talented roster, a World Series worthy roster, but sometimes players drift from the spotlight.

Last season, the entirety of baseball found it nearly impossible to not join in on the history being made in LA. The Dodgers got more attention than they had been given in years. That in mind, there are players that could impact the Dodgers in ways we may not see coming.

It’s these players that could help define 2018 for the Dodgers.

As we charge towards the new season, we often think about players like Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen and, after his historic rookie season, Cody Bellinger. Though its a tired and worn out saying, it never fails to prove true; there is no “I” in “team.” The Dodgers know that. They wouldn’t have won 104 games in 2017 if they didn’t. They are all working together to reach a common goal.

For the Dodgers, that goal isn’t just getting to the World Series; it’s winning it. Their goal isn’t to match the success of the 2017 season, it’s to surpass it.

Here are the five Dodgers that deserve more credit in 2018, a year in which they could help their team win the World Series.
