The MLB Offseason is almost over as Spring Training is just a few days away. To review the Dodgers offseason, LA Sports Hub is bringing you the first (of many) Los Angeles Dodgers roundtable.

A little over three months ago the Los Angeles Dodgers were playing in game seven of the World Series, at home, against the Houston Astros. An entire season’s worth of work, from February to early November, all came down to nine innings.

Ignore the red-hot summer of Cody Bellinger and the Dodgers. Forgotten was the Dodgers’ 11-game losing streak in early September that prevented them from making history. Neither the Division or Championship series’ mattered for either team.

To be called World Champions for the first time since 1988, the Los Angeles Dodgers needed to outplay the Houston Astros for 27 more outs.

That ultimately never happened. The Astros blasted Yu Darvish early and coasted to a 5-1 victory. The Dodgers had plenty of opportunities, yet failed to find the magic that had followed them all season long.

They will be back, though. The best talents that carried LA to such a great season are returning in 2018 to try to repeat the glory. That led the Dodgers to have a very small, but very important, to-do list for the MLB offseason.

With the offseason nearly coming to a close (however, the Dodgers could still make a move for Yu Darvish), Sarah Maninger, Jamaal Artis and I got together for our first weekly Dodgers Roundtable. The topic, of course, is the Dodgers offseason.
