What do the off-season priorities need to be for the Los Angeles Chargers?

With the NFL season officially concluded, it is time to look towards the NFL Draft and free agency. This is the time of the year where team’s make the decisions that will decide their fortunes for the next season.

For many of these teams, they are only a few moves away from being real contenders in the league. The Los Angeles Chargers are among these teams.

Last season resulted in a roller coaster of emotion for fans as the year went from dreadful, after the 0-4 start, to hopeful, after the resurgence of the season that saw the team go 9-3 in their last 12 games, and finally ended in disappointment as the team failed to make the playoffs due to tiebreakers.

While it was heartbreaking to not see the Chargers play in the postseason, the late-season push the team made can be seen as a great source of optimism for the team’s future.

As currently constructed, the Charger’s roster is extremely talented, but there are a few moves the team must make if they want to ensure that they will be contenders not only next season but for many seasons to come.

With that being said, here are the five things that I think the Los Angeles Chargers need to do this off-season to get on the right track.
