PG – Lonzo Ball

Love him or hate him, Lonzo Ball is a great point guard at the NBA level. Sure, his shot did flounder early on and hindered his performance. Yes, there are doubts about his shooting form and if it can translate to long-term scoring success in the league. Of course, he has an outlandish father that could be a headache to deal with at times.

However, what you cannot deny about Lonzo Ball is his overall contributions to the Los Angeles Lakers. Even while Ball has been out with injury, the fast-paced, ball-sharing culture that he initiated has continued. Alongside the emergence of Kyle Kuzma, Ball has been a huge component in the development of the Lakers.

In his rookie season Ball is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. Ball is one of five players in the NBA to average over 10 points and seven assists and rebounds per game. The other four are LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Ben Simmons and Draymond Green.

Ball is only going to get better and in five years time could be a triple-double machine like Russell Westbrook. While he may never be a 20 points per game scorer in the league, his value is still incredible and undeniable.
