The Los Angeles Rams did a great job in turning the team around in 2017. However, the 2017 NFL Draft still could have been done differently.

You know, for not having a first-round pick, the Los Angeles Rams did fairly decent at piecing together a good 2017 NFL Draft to complement the other offseason additions. However, that does not mean that the 2017 NFL Draft was perfect for the Rams.

Los Angeles definitely missed out on some great opportunities that could have fit in nicely on their team. However, most of these opportunities were overlooked by many teams. Heck, the Offensive Rookie of the Year, Alvin Kamara, was taken in the third-round. All 31 other teams passed on him at least once.

Thus, we take wanted to take a look back and re-draft the entire Los Angeles Rams’ 2017 NFL Draft. However, we are going to do so with some guidelines.

First, we are keeping draft picks in the round they were selected. Technically speaking, Alvin Kamara could have been a top-three pick. However, we are keeping him in the third-round to keep it authentic. So, you won’t be seeing Kamara or Dalvin Cook in the second-round, they must stay in their respective rounds.

Also, we are not going to just pick the best player available, we are going to pick the best fit. Yes, Kamara was the best overall player, but he would have done nothing on the Rams behind Todd Gurley. It just would not have made sense.

With that being said, let’s get right into redrafting the Los Angeles Rams 2017 NFL Draft, starting in the second-round.
