1. LeBron James would not let his intentions be this out in the public

LeBron James is arguably the smartest businessman in the NBA and it is not even close. After failing to get a good team around him in Cleveland, James took to Miami with Chris Bosh to join Dwayne Wade to win two rings. With that experience under his belt and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, James came back home to bring his hometown a ring.

And nobody expected that move to Miami to ever happen. Looking back on it, we all should have seen it coming. LeBron James with his best friend Dwayne Wade in South Beach? Why wouldn’t that intrigue James?

Then, when LeBron decided to come home, he gave the NBA another move that nobody saw coming. The writing was on the wall for James to leave, however, I think it is safe to say that no one really expected him to head back to Cleveland after his rough departure.

James is smart, he is a man of secrecy. There is no way that he would let his intentions be known to the NBA world an entire year before it happens. And to LeBron’s credit, I think he is toying with us. Whispering under his jersey to Lonzo Ball? Classic.

In actuality, James may want to stay in Cleveland and depart somewhere that nobody saw coming. He obviously likes DeMarcus Cousins, maybe he will join forces with him and go to the Big Apple to play with Kristaps Porzingis on the Knicks. Who knows.
