The Los Angeles Dodgers enter Spring Training with only a few minor differences on the roster. However, there are still five impending questions that must be answered.

The grass is green again, the birds are chirping and baseball is finally back! Spring Training is officially underway with the full squad workouts starting Monday. For the Los Angeles Dodgers, the first game falls on Friday against the Chicago White Sox.

For Dodgers fans, this winter has been a long, gloomy one. The last time the fans saw their home team the Houston Astros were celebrating their World Series victory in Dodger Stadium. After a historic season, in which everything seemed to go the Dodgers’ way and they were destined for greatness, it came down to 27 outs.

And the Dodgers failed in the 27 outs. Now former pitcher Yu Darvish floundered early, the bats were unable to do anything to get him any insurance.

It sucks even more reflecting on the World Series because the Dodgers played, well, bad. It took the Houston Astros seven games to defeat a Dodgers team that was playing at half of what they were capable of. Thoughts like that still keep me up at night.

However, 2018 is a new chapter in Dodger baseball and will provide another platform for the team to finally bring home the World Series trophy to LA. Before that, though, the Dodgers must answer three questions in Spring Training.
