Let’s discuss: Which young Lakers player is the most important?
The Los Angeles Lakers have built quite a formidable young core in the last several seasons. Which begs the question: which young star is the most important; Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball or Kyle Kuzma?
The future of the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the most discussed topics in all of basketball and for good reason. For the first time since Kobe Bryant tore his Achilles, the future of the franchise is one that shows great potential.
The root of the high hopes for the team’s future is the presence of three fantastic young prospects, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma— along with $60 million in cap space and an NBA legend running the team.
If all goes to plan, and the Lakers make a meteoric return to the elite of the NBA, it will likely be because of these three players. But if this is to happen, the question will be raised, who will have contributed to this newfound success the most, of the three?
Or in other words, which of the three prominent prospects currently on the Lakers roster is the most important for the team’s future?
Finding the answer to this question is the task I set out to conquer today. To assist me in coming to a conclusion, I am joined by site experts, Jason Reed and Keith Rivas. The three of us all have differing viewpoints on the topic, but which of us is correct?
Well, that is for you to decide.
