The Los Angeles Rams have made it clear that Tavon Austin is not in the planned future. Thus, what teams emerge as fits in the latest Rams rumors?

At one point, Tavon Austin was an immensely promising prospect for the (then) St. Louis Rams. The Rams selected Austin with the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. With his great speed, elusiveness and overall shiftiness, Austin had all it took to be a great slot receiver in the NFL. Now, Austin is involved in the latest Rams rumors.

Reports indicate something that has seemingly been a foregone conclusion for months; the Los Angeles Rams want to move on from Tavon Austin by either trading him away or by cutting him. This should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone, as Austin saw little to no playing time in 2018.

LA looked to use Austin as a situational runner to perhaps create their own version of Ty Montgomery. However, that still did not get Austin the ball much. Austin carried the ball 59 times for 270 yards with just nine receptions. With so much talent on the Rams, Austin is on the outside looking in.

However, Austin still has some value to NFL teams looking for a player with his kind of skill set. Austin is still under team control for four more seasons, giving his new potential team plenty of time to work out the kinks and figure out what is best for Tavon Austin.

There have been several teams linked to grabbing Tavon Austin in the latest Rams rumors. We compiled our favorites to give you the four best fits for Austin outside of LA.
