LA Rams: Five more trade targets to consider moving forward

LA Rams trade target: FS Earl Thomas
The Los Angeles Rams already summed up their free safety problem by franchise tagging LaMarcus Joyner. Realistically speaking, the Los Angeles Rams should have no incentive to go out and trade for another safety. The funds that available will likely be allocated for Aaron Donald, making the need for another safety less significant
However, that does not mean that the Rams should neglect an opportunity to significantly upgrade the team. Yes, this deal is highly unlikely. Los Angeles likely would not want to give up what the Seahawks would ask for and the Seahawks may not be willing to make their division foes better.
That does not mean that this deal is impossible, though. The Rams have already shocked many people with their moves this offseason, perhaps Earl Thomas could be the icing on the cake.
There is some tension there. Thomas was quick to point out that he would not return to Seattle without a contract extension; flirting with the idea of becoming a Dallas Cowboy. However, with the Seahawks reportedly looking to extend Thomas, the tension has calmed for now.
If the two sides cannot come to an agreement do not be surprised if the Seahawks do part ways with their All-Pro safety in order to get something out of him. If the Rams could somehow convince the Seahawks to send Thomas to LA, it would give Seattle the best secondary in football. Period.
