The Dodgers have had great success in the past when it comes to future superstars being called up, and that success is expected to continue. So who, and when, will be next?

This time last year,  we were all looking forward to September; to the potential call-up of Cody Bellinger. Then, he got called up months earlier than anyone expected. Our expectations were greatly surpassed from that point on.

It’s rare that a team can have talent like Corey Seager and Bellinger win ROTY awards in consecutive years, and still have more players of their likeness waiting in the wings.

Well, “rare” is a pretty good word to describe the Dodgers these days, and they’re continually able to live up to it. It takes work to be a rarity in a sport with 30 teams and 162 games a year, but the Dodgers have earned it. You don’t win 104 games with back-to-back rookie of the years and still fall under the category of ordinary.

So, that leads us to the inevitable question of “who’s next?”

Walker Buehler is the obvious answer. Buehler, who is slated to have a Kershaw-esque emergence into the majors, will most likely be in the majors, for good, this year.

He’s not the only one. Alex Verdugo will see the bright lights of Dodger Stadium soon, as will newly-acquired prospect, Jake Peter.

Here’s when we could be seeing them at the Ravine.
