Kirk Gibson Special Edition Bobblehead — Friday, March 30

The Los Angeles Dodgers are starting the promotions in 2018 with a bang. In the second game of the season, Dodger fans are treated to the second promotion. The first being a magnetic calendar on Opening Day.

The most iconic moment in Los Angeles Dodgers history is getting its own bobblehead. Kirk Gibson’s infamous walk-off home run in game one of the 1988 World Series is one of the most unforgettable moments in baseball history. Those in attendance for the first Friday Night Fireworks game of the season will go home with a Gibson bobblehead; fist pumping and all.

I was originally supposed to go to this game, unfortunately, some family things came up and now I will be watching the game on TV.

Maybe the Dodgers are trying to give themselves some good luck by bringing back the best moment in team history to crank the wheels in motion to win the first World Series in 30 years. Everyone thought that 2017 was the year. Maybe this bobblehead signals that 2018 is the year.

Hopefully.
