4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

I am a huge LA Sports fan, obviously. I get very excited by seeing superstars like Ndamukong Suh or Shohei Ohtani come to Los Angeles. However, no superstar has felt like a bigger deal than the LA Galaxy’s signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ibrahimovic is an international superstar, and as many expected, he has finally signed with the LA Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic has been teasing this move for a while now; it is a familiar move for soccer stars to make later in their career. David Beckham and Kaka did it, now, it is Ibrahimovic’s turn.

Long-gone is the cold winter months of England and Manchester United and in is the warm, California sun with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Zlatan should have no problem coming over and being one of the MLS’ best. Of the past stars to convert, Ibrahimovic looks primed to make the biggest impact.

Everyone loves Ibrahimovic; that is why this move is such a massive deal. Heck, the Swedish superstar paid for a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times that simply said: “Dear Los Angeles, you’re welcome.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been saying outlandish, internet worthy things his entire career. The United States is just barely getting its fair share of Zlatan time. Ibrahimovic is definitely that guy at the party that everyone knows and can run a beer pong table without a teammate.
