The 2018 NFL Draft is nearly upon us and the anticipation is growing. With so many potential fits, what prospects should the Los Angeles Chargers cross off their big board?

The NFL never really ends, does it? The most popular sport in America (at least in terms of viewership) has the longest offseason of any of the major sports. With the Super Bowl being played on the first Sunday of February and the first NFL game a week or so into September, NFL fans have seven months without NFL football.

But the NFL does not stop. First comes the free agent frenzy. The start of the NFL league year officially began on March 14; leading to a frenzy of moves in the ensuing days. Heck, even before the league year started, moves were already made that just needed to be finalized.

After that comes the NFL Combine; a showcase of the most talented young football players in the world. With the Combine comes the next big event: the NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2018 NFL Draft in an interesting position. Realistically, the Chargers can contend for a Super Bowl with the current group of guys they have. Add in a full slate of draft picks and the Chargers become one of the interesting teams to watch. A good pick with the 17th overall selection can really propel the Chargers into something special.

Because of that, so many different prospects in various positions have been tied to the Chargers. Not all are perfect though. Here are three prospects, at three different positions, we think the Chargers should stay away from in the 2018 NFL Draft.
