The LA Rams 2018 Schedule has been announced and gives the new-look team a big challenge after a breakout 2017 season.

Time really does fly. I remember when the LA Rams 2017 schedule was announced and I did this exact same type of article. At that point in time, the Rams were a hopeful young team that was coming off of a 4-12 season. Now, they are an offensive powerhouse that only got better and now look to be one of the NFL’s dynasties in the making.

Thus, in some sense, it is much more excited about the release of the LA Rams 2018 schedule than it was the 2017 schedule. This year, there is much more promise of a great season, last year, it was a narrative of “how many wins can the team improve with?”

And just for the record, I was wrong in my prediction, but who wasn’t? I predicted the Rams going 7-9 last season. Of course, they went 11-5.

This year’s schedule is much more daunting than last season’s. Although the opponents were already announced weeks ago, the entire schedule pieces together as followed:

  • Week 1: at Oakland Raiders (Monday Night Football)
  • Week 2: vs. Arizona Cardinals
  • Week 3: vs. Los Angeles Chargers
  • Week 4: vs. Minnesota Vikings (Thursday Night Football)
  • Week 5: at Seattle Seahawks
  • Week 6: at Denver Broncos
  • Week 7: at San Francisco 49ers
  • Week 8: vs. Green Bay Packers
  • Week 9: at New Orleans Saints
  • Week 10: vs. Seattle Seahawks
  • Week 11: vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Monday Night Football)
  • Week 12: BYE
  • Week 13: at Detroit Lions
  • Week 14: at Chicago Bears
  • Week 15: vs. Philadelphia Eagles
  • Week 16: vs. Arizona Cardinals
  • Week 17: at San Francisco 49ers

Right away you can see the LA Rams have some advantages. They avoided tough road matchups in the Vikings, Eagles, Packers and Chiefs. In fact, the team does not leave California until week five and does not have to travel significantly east until week nine.

Without further ado, let’s get into some predictions.
