Los Angeles Chargers Mock Draft: The perfect draft if everything went right

The Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2018 NFL Draft a few key pieces away from being legitimate contenders. Here is how the draft should look if it goes as planned.

The NFL Draft is often unpredictable, the 2018 NFL Draft being no different. Every year there is some sort of draft day trade or selection that shocks the football world. In a sense, it makes the entire buildup to the draft ironic; in which every football analyst is trying to predict the draft. While we are definitely guilty, this mock draft is a tad different.

While this definitely is a mock draft by all sense of the term and we definitely are still making predictions, this mock draft is going to look at who the Los Angeles Chargers would draft if literally everything went their way.

Of course, the NFL Draft never goes that way and the Chargers will have to scratch off several names off of their big board. However, the team is still likely entering the draft with a number one option for each round of the draft. Some of the guys may stay that long, others might be selected earlier.

And that is what is so fun about the draft, it is so unpredictable. The Los Angeles Chargers may end up drafting none of these players.

We are not going to throw a top-ten prospect at the Chargers with the 17th overall pick or think that a possible second or third-round selection will fall to the fifth-round. Instead, we are staying within reasonable boundaries to outline exactly what a perfect draft would look like for LA.
