This isn’t a list of the most important Los Angeles Chargers players to a Super Bowl run, those are obvious. Instead, we take a look at the guys that often get overlooked that have a huge role in the team’s success.

We all know who is typically the most important players towards a Super Bowl run. Nearly every Super Bowl winning team needs a good quarterback (or a stellar defense if that is not available). Every quarterback has their key contributors on offense, a star receiver or a great tight end or even a running back to take the pressure off.

Then, the defense needs to be stout as well. Defenses can either be great in one aspect, specializing in a way to terrorize other teams or can be decent in all areas.. Super Bowl winning teams need good coaching, depth and some luck. There is luck in sports, and often times, Super Bowl winning teams are lucky in the sense they do not have any serious injuries.

The Chargers, who have a great shot at making a deep playoff run, have these pieces. Here are three overlooked role players that will play a huge role in the team’s success this season.
