The Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2018 NFL season with high hopes of a Super Bowl run. In the 16-game regular season, three games stand out as huge games.

The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the legitimate Super Bowl contenders out of the AFC this coming season. Los Angeles is up there with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots and could shock many and make a deep run. In fact, the team practically has everything needed to make a deep Super Bowl run.

A potential deep run is going to have to start with a good regular season. Luckily for the Chargers, the schedule in 2018 does not look that difficult. After having one of the hardest schedules in football last season, the Chargers have the ninth-easiest schedule in football.

The Chargers’ opponents next season had a combined .480 2017 winning percentage. Of course, teams that were bad last year can turn it around, but it is looking pretty favorable for LA.

The Cardinals, Bengals, Ravens, Browns and Raiders should all be games the team can easily handle. That is six wins right there. LA beat up the Bills pretty badly last year, the Seahawks look ready to regress and the Titans are no big threat. Nine wins.

None of this is a lock but nine wins should be the absolute floor for the Chargers; the ceiling is around 13-14 wins.

There are several games that will make or break the Chargers’ year from being great from being mediocre. Here are the three most important games of the 2018 season.
