The Los Angeles Lakers will most likely be in hot pursuit for a superstar this summer. Because of the pursuit, nobody on the roster will be safe.

Something big is bound to happen this summer for the Los Angeles Lakers. Over a year of anticipation has all led to this offseason. From Paul George to LeBron James to even Kawhi Leonard, countless superstars have been tied to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Of course, this does not mean that anything huge will happen this offseason. Reports earlier in the year indicated that the Lakers were “widening their lens” to include the summer of 2019. Those reports did not last long, as the Lakers freed up more salary cap by trading Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr for Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye.

With so many different paths to go down, the Los Angeles Lakers have some decisions to make. Of those decisions may end up being to part ways with a young star in order to either bring in a star of free up the contract of Luol Deng.

Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times reported that no Laker ins untouchable this summer (h/t Bleacher Report). Meaning that Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram or Kyle Kuzma theoretically could be traded this summer.

And while that may be a long shot, it is a possibility that Lakers fans should be considering heading into the offseason festivities.

We may not agree with trading any of the young stars, but it did get us thinking as to what kind of trades the Lakers would make for these young stars.

And no, we are not including Julius Randle on this list as he is a restricted free agent.
