As the 2018 MLB season hurtles towards the All-Star Break, we bring you the first edition of our LA Sports ‘Would You Rather?’ with the help of our talented team of baseball contributors.

So, things have not been going well, and they sure aren’t trending in the right direction. After a few series’ against the Nationals, Padres, and Rockies, the Los Angeles Dodgers looked strong, they looked like they were on their way back.

The tides, it seems, changed on Thursday night.

Clayton Kershaw made his triumphant return from the DL, but will most likely head back there with the single most fear-inducing phrase Dodger fans know; back tightness.

The bullpen isn’t weak, but it’s not yet strong. Walker Buehler has dominated, Alex Wood has struggled. Rich Hill, Kenta Maeda, and Hyun-Jin Ryu are all injured.

The question is, where does this team go from here? More specifically, where do we want them to go? Of course, all Dodger fans want the team to win the World Series. I want that and, if you’re reading this, I’m willing to bet you do, too.

However, and I don’t mean to sound negative, what if that doesn’t happen? What if the Dodger’s don’t win the World Series, what would you want to happen?

That’s the question we’re asking this week, and we would love for you to chime in; would you rather the Los Angeles Dodgers lose the 2018 World Series in heartbreaking fashion, or miss the postseason entirely?

Let’s talk about it.
