Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors signed former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young to a one-year contract last summer. This summer, the Warriors need to add depth and could add another shooting guard from the Los Angeles Lakers.

After signing a one-year $16 million contract last offseason, Caldwell-Pope can afford to take a pay cut next season. If Caldwell-Pope is willing to take that pay cut, there obviously is no better place to go than the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors live and die by the three ball and Caldwell-Pope can help on that front coming off the bench. While he is not the same sharpshooter that Nick Young is, he can still be a great three-and-D player for the Warriors off the bench.

With Andre Iguodala aging and the Warriors losing their bench depth, the team should be looking to add a two-way player like Caldwell-Pope that can, at the very least, play solid defense for Steve Kerr.

Of course, there is also the possibility that some team offers Caldwell-Pope way too much money and he takes the monetary route. However, in terms of overall fit, the Warriors lead the way.
