The Los Angeles Rams may be the best overall team in the NFC West, however, the quarterback position is very competitive for all four teams.

The NFC West has the potential to be the best quarterback division in the NFL. From experienced MVP candidates to upstart young quarterbacks to rookies that could turn the league on its head, the NFC West has a ton to offer for any football fan.

Thus, even though the Los Angeles Rams are the most talented team in the division, the strong quarterbacks throughout the division should keep things interesting down the stretch.

Even the lowest ranked quarterback core on this list is a very solid one. From worst to best, here are the four quarterback cores in the NFC West, ranked.

4. Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have the most questions to answer regarding the team’s quarterback core which makes it the worst in the division. However, the Cardinals have the potential to have a solid quarterback, whoever it is, that is above league average.

Still, above league average is not enough to rank ahead of the great quarterback cores that are present in the NFC West.

Sam Bradford may be the logical starting quarterback on week 1 as he has experience and is one of the NFL’s most underrated quarterbacks when healthy. Bradford is a playoff-caliber quarterback and can be a great quarterback for Josh Rosen to learn under for a season.

However, Rosen could also find his way into the starting quarterback role and could compete for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Rosen was the most NFL-ready of the quarterbacks in the 2018 NFL Draft and could translate his skill set into the league instantly.

Again, no one really knows what exactly the plan is at quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. What we do know is they will be solid, but still the worst in the NFC West.
