2. Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams narrowly edged out Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers as the second-best quarterback core in the NFC West. It was a close decision, however, Goff has proven that he is a franchise quarterback and turned a bad rookie year around into an elite second season.

The one thing that was holding Goff back from potentially being the second-best quarterback in the division is the weapons he has around him. Goff has some of the best weapons around him and one of the best offensive lines in football to pass behind. Thus, it becomes a question whether or not Goff is this talented or is simply a system quarterback.

However, as you can obviously see, we gave the nod to Goff who is looking to build upon his sophomore season with yet another 4000-yard season. If everything goes right, Goff could even be an MVP candidate, especially if the Rams are the best team in the NFC.

As good as Garoppolo is, I would not consider him an MVP candidate yet as he needs to prove more in the league. Goff has proven that he can be an MVP candidate.

The sky is the limit for Jared Goff and this high-powered Los Angeles Rams offense. Los Angeles is going to be one of the best teams in football in large part due to having a very solid quarterback under center.
