The Los Angeles Lakers already added LeBron James but the chaos has not stopped. Here are three trades that the Lakers could explore this summer.

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to have a master plan to eventually dethrone the Golden State Warriors as the best team in the NBA. While that plan may not lead to a ring in year one (thanks, DeMarcus Cousins) there are some interesting storylines to watch as the summer unfolds for the Lakers.

The next move to make that many have been suggesting has been to trade for Kawhi Leonard. However, despite Leonard reportedly wanting to go to the Lakers and LA having all the leverage as they could simply just sign him next offseason, the Spurs are not budging.

The Spurs are reportedly asking for a trade return that consists of Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, two first-round draft picks and two pick swaps. I get that Kawhi Leonard is good and all, but asking that much for a guy that seemingly does not even want to be on your team is asinine.

Thus, the Lakers may just wait the Spurs out and bring in the hometown superstar next summer, the front office set up to do that by signing mostly one-year deals.

However, that may not mean that the Lakers are done this offseason. While chances are there isn’t going to be another massive move, the Lakers have the young core to make a massive move possible. It all depends on what this masterplan that Magic Johnson, Rob Pelinka and LeBron James have.

With that being said, here are three deals that we could see the Los Angeles Lakers potentially pulling off this summer.
