This trade is the least likely of the bunch but would have the biggest impact on the future of the Lakers. Anthony Davis is a sensational talent and a future MVP and he deserves a massive trade package like this, especially considering the Lakers would likely be getting three years guaranteed out of Davis.

If given this opportunity, the Los Angeles Lakers should pull the trigger as fast as possible to get this deal done. Having LeBron and Davis playing alongside each other would be a better duo than Kevin Durant and Steph Curry in Golden State. Both LeBron and Davis are menacing, dominating players that probably could dethrone the Warriors in year one.

The chances of the Pelicans trading Davis this early in his contract is slim, however, things do not seem to be too great in New Orleans.

There is a rumor going around that Davis is upset that he was not included in talks that eventually led Rajon Rondo out of New Orleans to, you already know, the Los Angeles Lakers. Add that to the fact that Davis bought a $7.5 million mansion in LA and we have at least enough of a foundation to speculate this deal.

Trading Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram would be hard but this would give the Lakers a starting five of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Brook Lopez (if he re-signs as the reports indicate he will).

Even better, the Lakers would remain in a virtually identical salary cap situation and would be opening up space to sign Kawhi Leonard next summer. James, Davis and Leonard all in a starting five would arguably be the greatest starting five all-time.
