Lance Stephenson: Be chaotic

The signing of Lance Stephenson was so surprising and quite hilarious due to his feud with new teammate LeBron James. How the two interact moving forward is going to be great to watch and will probably be reminiscent of James’ relationship with J.R. Smith in Cleveland.

Even though Stephenson was brought in by the Lakers he won’t see too much playing time right away in Los Angeles. Stephenson has young talents ahead of him that need the playing time to progress and will probably play in the 10 to 12 minute range.

However, Stephenson is not valuable because of the talent he brings to the court. Instead, he is valuable due to the chaos he is going to bring to the other team by acting as the thorn at the side of whoever the Los Angeles Lakers are playing.

Stephenson needs to do what he did to LeBron James to the likes of Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, James Harden and Chris Paul. It is going to be hilarious seeing Stephenson continuously mess with Durant before Draymond Green steps in.

I would not be surprised to see Stephenson and Green come to blows, to be honest.

But that is exactly what he is there for. The Lakers are not going to be missing much if he gets ejected and suspended a game or two. Whichever star he scuffles with will hurt his respective team with his absence.

Great move.
