2. Los Angeles Chargers

I did decide to give the nod to the Los Angeles Chargers due to the overall increased production from the Chargers receiving unit mixed with the potential that they could be the pass-catching unit in all of football.

This is even with starting tight end Hunter Henry likely missing the entire season. Henry being out was a huge factor in the decision between number two and three. If Henry was healthy, the Chargers would undoubtedly be number two and would challenge for the first spot on this list.

Regardless, the Chargers are looking good next season.

Led by Keenan Allen, the Chargers have a pass-catching unit that has a little bit of everything. They have youth, they have experience. They have deep threat options and check down guys.

Allen is one of the best receivers in football and will continue to prove that next season if he can remain healthy. Tyrell Williams is one of the best deep guys and football and was on the receiving end of plenty of Philip Rivers‘ bombs last season.

Travis Benjamin is a great guy that fills any mold the Chargers need and Mike Williams could be a top-tier wide receiver if he can stay healthy.

Virgil Green is good as a backup but not great as a starter and the Chargers are hoping to see someone step up, whether it be Cole Hunt, Braedon Bowman or Ben Johnson.

The Los Angeles Chargers are good. However, they are not the best team in the division when it comes to pass catchers.
