The Los Angeles Rams have one of the deepest young rosters in football, which will include three breakout sophomores in the 2018-2019 season.

It is pretty easy to get lost in all the offseason moves the Los Angeles Rams have made this summer. The Rams went from a playoff team with a ton of promise to a potential Super Bowl juggernaut that could be setting the tone for several more years of contention.

Los Angeles added three Pro Bowl defenders in Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Ndamukong Suh while adding a should-be Pro Bowl wide receiver in Brandin Cooks. The Rams grabbed the offseason by its horns and made sure that they would improve drastically, which the team did.

With all of these moves, however, it is easy to forget why the Rams were so successful last season. The youth movement in LA finally paid off and new head coach Sean McVay was able to best utilize the young, talented roster that he took over.

It is the young core that has made the Rams’ window so large and has allowed the team to take the risks it has during the offseason. While there are a few veteran guys on the roster, for the most part, the Rams are one of the youngest teams in football.

Not every young, talented player had a great season, though and some rookies failed to live up to the expectations that carried over from college. However, with an improved roster, they are only set to get better next year.

Thus, here are three sophomores on the Los Angeles Rams that are set for a breakout year in the 2018-2019 season.
