LeBron James — Most Valuable Player

We had to get the most obvious one out of the way. When you have the best player on the planet leading your team, of course, he is going to be the easiest choice when it comes to predicting who is going to win an NBA award.

However, for those outside of LA, LeBron may not be the clearcut favorite to be the MVP. Players such as James Harden, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant and even Stephen Curry are going to be in the running in some way or another.

It is James that is going to win the award.

LeBron coming to the Lakers opens a brand new opportunity that he has not had in quite some time: people are not going to be numb to his greatness. LeBron has been so great for so long that his high-level of production has become expected. Like Mike Trout in baseball, people do not turn their heads at James’ great seasons.

It is going to be hard to play better than he did last season but even an identical season from LeBron is going to be enough to win him the award.

His value is going to be undeniable as he turns a lottery team into a top-three team in the tough Western Conference and leads them to the Western Conference Finals. LeBron James is the best player on the planet, it is about time he gets the recognition he deserves.
