Lonzo Ball was one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2018 NBA Draft. Here are three things you can expect from the Los Angeles Lakers point guard next year.

From Chino Hills High School to UCLA to the Los Angeles Lakers, Lonzo Ball has had plenty of eyes on his basketball career and some lofty expectations. Alongside his brothers, Lonzo Ball has not only become a player but has become a brand with the Big Baller Brand.

And while there are definitely some conflicting opinions about Big Baller Brand, LaVar Ball and his three sons have been in the media more than any rookie since LeBron James.

Because of all this exposure and the often ridiculous things LaVar has said, Lonzo Ball was never going to live up to expectations his rookie season. Anything less than Rookie of the Year and an eighth seed in the playoffs was likely going to be regarded as disappointing.

Neither of those things came to fruition and all of Ball’s negative aspects came to the light. His free throw shooting, three-point shooting and sometimes shaky conditioning are more prominent than his positive aspects.

With LeBron James now a Laker, Ball seems to be the odd man out in the young core. If anyone is going to be traded, I bet the common consensus of the fans is that it should be Ball.

However, this criticism of Ball is sometimes unjustified and he will start to prove a lot of people wrong next season. Here are our three bold predictions for Lonzo Ball in his sophomore season.
