1. How big of a role is Josh Reynolds going to play?

The Los Angeles Rams selected wide receiver Josh Reynolds in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Heading into the year, Reynolds was one of several new tools that the front office had brought in to surround second-year quarterback Jared Goff with.

Reynolds was a very promising prospect coming out of Texas A&M. He was the best receiver for A&M during his tenure and provided something the Rams did not have at the time: a big-bodied, lengthy, vertical threat.

Right away Reynolds seemed to be, at least, a red zone target for the Rams and someone that Goff could target on key third and long situations. However, due to the emergence of Cooper Kupp and the reliance on Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins, Reynolds did not do much in his rookie season.

Reynolds made just 11 receptions for 104 yards last season, although he did have one touchdown reception.

Heading into the preseason, Reynolds is the fourth-best receiver on the Los Angeles Rams’ roster and is likely going to be the receiver getting the most playing time. This is the perfect time for the Rams to gauge the improvements Reynolds will make heading into year two and how the team can implement those improvements into the game plan.
