The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the league in Philip Rivers, who is going to continue to thrive into his 15h season.

Philip Rivers really does not get the credit he deserves as one of the quarterbacks in the National Football League. Not only is Rivers one of the best current quarterbacks in the league, at this pace, he is going to go down as a top-10 quarterback all-time and is a surefire selection for the Hall of Fame.

There is an obvious explanation as to why this is the case and that is due to the stellar quarterback era that Rivers has played in.

Rivers has played in the league at the same time as arguably the two greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Brett Favre is also up there in the top five, as is Drew Brees, who Rivers succeeded on the Chargers.

Nowadays, the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson steal the spotlight from Rivers, despite Rivers quietly being one of the best in the league.

Wilson was a prime candidate for MVP heading down the stretch in the season despite having over 500 fewer passing yards and a worse quarterback rating.

This trend is likely going to continue but hopefully, the Los Angeles Chargers can succeed this season so Rivers finally gets the recognition he deserves.

Regardless, here are three bold predictions for Philip Rivers heading into his 15th season and 13th as starting quarterback.
