1. Lance Stephenson will play the least amount of minutes in his career

Unfortunately for Lance Stephenson, he is not going to have a huge role, as far as minutes are concerned, with the Los Angeles Lakers. The team signed him for a very specific purpose (which we will get to later) and that does not include seeing a whole lot of time on the court.

Technically speaking, this will not be the least amount of minutes that Stephenson has played. In his first two years in the league, Stephenson did not play much, averaging a combined 10.3 minutes.

However, since then, Stephenson has played no fewer than 19.9 minutes per game and has averaged 24.4 minutes per game across his eight NBA seasons.

Next season, Stephenson will likely play somewhere between 12 and 16 minutes per game, solely due to the talents that are ahead of him in the depth chart.

He likely will not see a lot of time at shooting guard with both Josh Hart and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope at the position. At small forward, Kuzma is behind Ingram and Kyle Kuzma. With Michael Beasley also in the picture at forward, Stephenson’s potential minutes shrank even more.
