Los Angeles Lakers @ Golden State Warriors, Dec. 25, 2018 — ESPN

LeBron James is going to see a whole lot of the Golden State Warriors now that he is on the Los Angeles Lakers. As a member of the Pacific Division, the Lakers and Warriors will square off four times, two in each venue.

Of course, the NBA realized that the first matchup between these two sides is going to be must-see TV. So naturally, the NBA saved the matchup for the NBA’s most watched day, Christmas.

James and the Lakers will be traveling north to Oakland to square off against Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the rest of the Golden State Warriors. DeMarcus Cousins likely will not be back by this time, so James is going to get a look at a very familiar Warriors team.

This will be a good test to see how the Lakers fare against the Warriors and if there is any realistic chance that the team could upset the Warriors in the NBA Playoffs. With the youth on the team, some think that the Lakers are still a few years away. Those questions will at least be somewhat answered on Christmas day.

This is undoubtedly going to be the most watched game on Christmas as it is airing at 5:00 p.m. PT and 8:00 p.m. ET.

We were also going to include the Lakers-Warriors matchup on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the league’s second-most prominent regular season day. However, we opted to go with other fun matchups.
