Joey Bosa quickly became one of the best edge rushers in football and the Los Angeles Chargers left end will continue to make noise this season.

The Los Angeles Chargers‘ relationship with Joey Bosa did not get off on the right foot and Bosa’s career as a Charger seemed over before it ever started. The two sides took historically long to sign Bosa’s rookie contract, which prompted some concerning Eli Manning comments from Bosa’s mother.

Manning infamously demanded a trade after being drafted first overall to the then San Diego Chargers, which led to Philip Rivers becoming the future of the franchise.

The two sides eventually came to a resolution and Bosa inked a four-year deal with the Chargers to be the team’s starting left end. Bosa missed the first four games of his rookie year due to a hamstring injury and still finished the season with 10.5 sacks and was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Bosa did not slow down in his sophomore season and served as one half of the best edge rush duo in the league alongside Melvin Ingram. Bosa is arguably the best edge rusher in football, Ingram is easily top-five.

Now, with a team that has huge expectations, Bosa is going to look to have a huge third season in the NFL. This season is exciting for Charger fans and there is more to get excited about; our three bold predictions for Joey Bosa next season.
