1. Joey Bosa will record the first interception of his career

This one is definitely trivial and may be the most trivial bold prediction we have had for an NFL player thus far. In the grand scheme of things, one interception is not a huge deal and unless it comes at the perfect time for the Los Angeles Chargers, will not be overly deciding on the team’s success next year.

However, with the stellar pass-rush and secondary that the Chargers possess, the chances of Bosa recording his first ever interception is much higher.

Bosa is going to get to the quarterback often and is going to get many chances to deflect passes. Last season, Bosa deflected one pass to go along with his four forced fumbles.

By getting to the quarterback so often, Bosa naturally opens the door to snag one straight out of the air right in front of the quarterback. However, if he does get his first interception, it will be with some help from his teammates.

Quarterbacks are naturally going to hold onto the ball longer as the Chargers’ secondary goes to work, giving more time for Bosa and Ingram to rush from the edge. At least once this season, both Bosa and Ingram will be crashing, Ingram will get the blindside hit and Bosa will pick off a flailing football and take it to the house.
