While the team also has a solid offensive line, a young quarterback that can sling the football and a versatile receiving corps, Gurley is the highlight of the offensive side of the ball. Having Gurley in the running game alone opens up opportunities elsewhere. Let’s not forget that he is one of the best pass-catching backs in the league as well.
Overall, Gurley has cemented himself as one of the most talented running backs in the league. Under a new head coach in Sean McVay after a sophomore slump, Gurley really came into his own and reached his full potential.
He was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year winner and was the only player in football with 2,000 yards from scrimmage. At only 24 years old entering this season, Gurley has at least another five seasons of this elite production.
