1. The Los Angeles Rams are going to flirt with 30 interceptions as a team

Initially, I was going to go as far to say that the Los Angeles Rams would contend to break the all-time record for interceptions by a team in a single season. However, that honor goes to the 1961 San Diego Chargers, who intercepted 49 passes.

That is a huge number to reach, especially considering the best teams in the league do not get half of that and the mid-tier teams and lower no not even reach a third of that total. As good as the Rams are, that goal is too lofty.

However, the Rams are one of the easy favorites to lead the league in interceptions and are going to take it one step up from the league-leading 22 by the Baltimore Ravens last season and flirt with 30 interceptions in the season.

That is just under two interceptions per game and is something that could be done with the group of guys that the Rams have. The corners are going to be lockdown and the defensive line is going to get to the quarterback quick, which naturally will force rushed throws and ugly balls.

Thirty interceptions could potentially be just scratching the surface for a team as talented as the Los Angeles Rams.
