Why the Los Angeles Lakers will be the most entertaining team to watch

2. The Los Angeles Lakers’ roster is nothing like LeBron’s ever experienced

The last slide is a contributing factor to this slide but is not the entire story, hence why we separated the two points. Having Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo on the same team is definitely something new for James and something new for the entire league. However, the overall outlook of the Lakers is something completely different from what LeBron has experienced.

We have definitely seen teams like the Los Angeles Lakers before; a young, hungry team that adds a veteran to the mix to hopefully take that next step into true title contention. We saw it with the Philadelphia 76ers last season.

James is different from other veterans, he is no JJ Redick on 76ers and is no Trevor Ariza on the Phoenix Suns. He is a bonafide superstar that not only brings that veteran experience but can bring LA another MVP award.

James is entering a new era in his career and is really taking up the mentor role on the Los Angeles Lakers. While he has always been the leader on the court, James is coming into an explosive, young team that is capable of scoring a ton of points a night due to the pure athleticism on the court.

This is new for James, who has spent the last few years on the Cavaliers stockpiling veterans on the bench to serve as reliable options during the postseason. While the Lakers also added veterans to the bench, the team has a young core that could bring the best out of LeBron.
