The USC Football Trojans are on the road this week and play in what will be one of the most entertaining games against the Stanford Cardinal.

The 17th-ranked USC Football Trojans will head to Palo Alto, Califonia to take on 10th-ranked Stanford Cardinal this weekend. Last week, the Trojans beat  UNLV 43-21 at home, and Stanford took care of business 31-10 against San Diego State.

In what should be one of the most compelling college football games to watch this week, we give you the three keys to victory for USC.

Containing Bryce Love

Last week, San Diego State did an excellent job against Bryce Love, holding him to 29 yards on 18 carries. The Aztecs used an eight-man front to stop Love from getting going.

I think USC will have the same game plan to slow down Love. Last week, Stanford quarterback K.J Costello threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns.

Also, J.J Arcega-Whiteside had six catches for 226 yards and three touchdowns. But you will have to take your chances with that because if Bryce Love gets going, you have no shot.

Turn JT Daniels loose

Last week, J.T Daniels threw for 282 yards and one touchdown. In the first half, he struggled a bit, missing high on some passes and the play calling was kind of conservative with a lot of quick hitting plays being called.

In the second half, USC opened up a little bit, letting Daniels throw down the field more — showing off his deep ball accuracy and touch. USC needs to showcase Daniels this week and allow him to throw down the field more and get him moving in the pocket to make plays on the run.

Get Off To A Good Start

It will be essential for USC to get off to a good start to get the crowd out of the game. It will also help slow down the Stanford running game. If you get down a couple of touchdowns, it will be hard for Stanford to stay committed to running the ball.

JT Daniels could use a good start; it would build his confidence in a tough PAC-12 road game. Creating a good lead will let USC running back by committee a chance to thrive and wear down the Standford Defense.

light. More. The Trojans are embarking on a critical road trip

This game will be a good matchup, look for Stanford to try and be Physical. The USC Football Trojans better be ready to battle in the Trenches because Stanford will be.
