After what ended up being a cakewalk of a second half in Oakland, the Los Angeles Rams have another easy game against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Los Angeles Rams are one of the heavily favored teams to walk away with a Super Bowl Championship in February 2019. Los Angeles added a lot of talent to a young core and it showed off in Week 1 against the Oakland Raiders.

Although the Raiders did shock the Rams early and played more physical to carry a lead into the first half. Then the Rams pure talent took over and the team coasted to a 33-13 win.

In Week 2, the Los Angeles Rams make the team’s home debut against the Arizona Cardinals, who provide the Rams quite the easy start to the season. Getting off on the right foot is so important, especially for a Super Bowl contending team. Two cream puff games early on is exactly what the Rams need.

We are kind of getting ahead of ourselves and the score predictions that the LA Sports Hub staff has provided. Every week we are giving you our score predictions for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and we are keeping up our records.

Last week, everyone was perfect in the Rams prediction. This week, it should be much of the same.

Jamaal Artis (1-0): 42-14, Rams

The Rams are favored by 13 points at home against an Arizona Cardinals team that has Sam Bradford as their QB. If the Rams don’t win by more than two touchdowns at home facing a less talented QB than the one they just beat on the road, I will be very disappointed.

Jeremy Bezich: (1-0): 38-13, Rams

In the second half of Week 1 against the Raiders, the Rams looked like a team that can win the Super Bowl. The offense is dynamic and exciting. The defense has a ton of star power. Sean McVay might just be the best coach in the NFL besides Bill Belichick. This is a rebuilding year for Arizona and it will show on Sunday. Rams win easily.

Lamarr Fields (1-0): 31-10, Rams

The Cardinals will be outmatched; the Rams have too much talent. The Rams defense will focus on David Johnson and force Sam Bradford to throw the ball and they will force turnovers. Gurley will feast on the Cards defense.

Sarah Maninger (1-0): 35-14, Rams

After a great win over the Raiders last week, the Rams look to move to 2-0, something I think they can do this Sunday. Jared Goff is a strong QB and I think he and Todd Gurley can help lead the Rams to another win this weekend.

Jason Reed (1-0): 27-6, Rams

One thing I noticed in all of the staff’s predictions is that everyone had the Los Angeles Rams scoring at least 30 points.

I really do not think that will be the case as Jared Goff won’t be overly comfortable with Chandler Jones breathing down his neck. While the Los Angeles Rams offensive line is good enough to keep Goff in the pocket, this Cardinals defensive line is better than the Oakland Raiders and Goff will notice the difference.

Thus, the team is going to be relying a ton on Todd Gurley, which they should. However, that leads to the game being drawn out and the Rams running out of time to put 30 points on the board.

Gurley and Johnson are going to have a head-to-head running match that is going to be very fun to watch. However, the Rams defense is simply too talented for a Cardinals offense that lacks a great quarterback.

Three touchdowns and two field goals for the Los Angeles Rams and two field goals for the Arizona Cardinals feels right.
