The Los Angeles Lakers have a completely different outlook on this season and will be using this season to determine what moves are made in the future.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be the most entertaining team to watch in the NBA next season and is the team with the most anticipation after a summer full of moves. No team has changed as much as the Lakers, who went from a lottery team for the fifth consecutive year into a true NBA Title contender.

Of course, that all changed when the Los Angeles Lakers signed LeBron James to a four-year, $154 million contract on the first day of free agency. James ended the rumors that had been circling for over a year and did not even give the offseason time to develop before making his move.

However, it is not just James that makes this team so exciting as James alone could not dethrone the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers also boast one of the best young cores in the game that has the potential to blossom into something truly special as early as next season. Not only does the team have a nice core intact, but the front office has also opened up cap space flexibility to bring in another superstar next offseason.

Thus, it is safe to say that this season will not be title or bust and will be huge in determining what the Lakers do in the offseason for the 2019-2020 season. With multiple options on the table, the moves the front office makes will be determined by how specific player produce next season.

Here are those three players that the Lakers are going to be watching under a microscope that will determine what the team does moving forward.
