The Los Angeles Chargers were unable to overcome the juggernaut Los Angeles Rams despite the game being much closer than the score indicated.

The Los Angeles Chargers put up a great fight but were unable to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in the teams’ first matchup both in the city of Los Angeles.

The Chargers fell to the Rams, 35-23, in a game that was much closer than the score indicated. Despite falling by 12 points, the Chargers arguably should have walked away victorious in the contest and instead fell to 1-2.

Sunday’s game was a familiar thing to watch for Charger fans, who have watched a team that has always been good enough to get their hopes up but never good enough to fully get it done.

The Chargers stood in there and did not give up against the Rams, who are many people’s Super Bowl pick. The Chargers pushed the Rams as far as they have been pushed this season and came up a few key plays short of winning the game.

This game really could have gone either way. At the end of the day, it is going to leave a sour taste in Charger fans mouths knowing that the Bolts truly could have gotten it done.

Here are the positive and negative takeaways from the Chargers’ loss to the Rams.
