2. The Los Angeles Lakers have sneaky good shooters off the bench

One of the biggest gripes with the Los Angeles Lakers is the team’s lack of three-point shooting. And while the team does lack the traditional three-point specialist like Kyle Korver, this team still has shooters up and down the roster and is going to surprise many with three-point efficiency.

Off the bench alone the team has several shooters to get excited about and two rookies that are going to be much better than the general media leads them on to be.

First-round pick Moritz Wagner looks like one of the most polished big men coming out of the 2018 NBA Draft and is going to see decent playing time with the Lakers’ lack of size at the center position.

Wagner is the prototypical stretch four and is going to play a similar role as Kevin Love did at center for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season; just not as extreme.

The other rookie to get excited about is Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. Mykhailiuk looks like he has the potential to be one of the best second-round picks of the entire draft class and of the last five years.

Mykhailiuk has a polished shot that is going to be efficient in transition and as a catch and shoot weapon. Mykhailiuk will be one of the Lakers’ most dangerous pieces coming off the bench.

Josh Hart will surprise many with his three-point shot, Kyle Kuzma can shoot the rock, Michael Beasley can stretch the floor and Lonzo Ball has an improved jumper which should make him a better scorer coming off high screens and in the corner.

Overall, the Lakers have a very promising three-point shooting outlook, mostly because of the pieces on the bench.
